Molt and Bloom helps leaders strengthen workforce performance in complex operational environments
Practitioners built for operational reality.
Molt and Bloom advises industrial, manufacturing, and operational leaders navigating workforce complexity, labor pressure, rapid growth, and organizational change.
Our experience comes from leading HR inside multi-site, high-accountability environments where workforce decisions directly impacted operational performance. We help organizations strengthen frontline leadership, improve workforce stability, and build people systems that support execution without the bureaucracy.
Our story
Most organizational problems don’t start with people. They start with leadership, systems, and execution. Fixing them requires someone with experience.
Molt and Bloom was founded by Ellen Hudson and Becky Beamish. Between them, they bring more than forty combined years leading HR inside global industrial companies with complex operations including Stanley Black & Decker, GE, Cox Communications, and Clarios. They’ve managed workforces of tens of thousands across global manufacturing operations, led union contract negotiations as chief spokesperson, rebuilt underperforming HR functions into credible business partners, navigated labor pressure, leadership transitions, and operational change inside Fortune 500 and PE-backed companies under value-creation timelines, and handled the hardest workforce situations when businesses operate at scale.
“We didn’t build Molt and Bloom to just consult on HR. We built Molt and Bloom to actually do HR with the same directness and operational accountability we brought to every leadership role before this one.“
Today’s leaders do not need more jargon or oversized strategy decks. They need experienced partners who can identify problems early, strengthen leadership capability, reduce operational risk, and build systems that support execution.
Organizations often wait too long to address workforce and leadership challenges:
- Compliance becomes urgent after the complaint.
- Leadership development starts after turnover spikes.
- Training gets attention after operational mistakes.
- Engagement becomes a pizza party instead of a serious conversation about accountability, communication, trust, and performance.
Molt and Bloom helps companies:
- Protect what matters through practical compliance, workforce structure, and risk management.
- Perform through stronger leadership, accountability, and operational execution.
- Pioneer the future through adaptable teams, modern workforce practices, and organizational readiness growth and change.
We believe HR should operate as a business function and not an administrative function. Our work helps organizations create stronger leadership, more stable workforce systems, and practical approaches that support long-term business performance.

Why Molt and Bloom
We’ve been in the seat.
Most HR advisory firms are built by consultants. We’re built by operators. Our founders held VP HR roles at some of the world’s most complex industrial companies and managed workforces through acquisitions, leading union contract negotiations, building HR infrastructure from scratch, and handling the hardest employee situations that arise in large-scale manufacturing environments.
That means when you bring us in, you’re not getting a consultant who has studied your situation. You’re getting someone who has lived it. We know the difference between a workforce that’s disengaged and one that’s organizing. We know what an Operations Leader actually needs to see. We know which compliance gaps carry real exposure and which ones don’t.
We also bring something most HR consultants can’t: a licensed attorney with extensive experience in employment law and labor relations in industrial environments. That means we can assess legal risk accurately, advise on defensible decisions, and tell you when you need outside counsel, and when you don’t.
Molt and Bloom. Shed what isn’t working. Build what does.
